Gabriel Byrne is to star alongside Geraldine James in the world premiere of 45 Years at Chichester Festival Theatre.
The Irish actor, whose stage credits include A Moon for the Misbegotten and Long Day’s Journey Into Night, will make his CFT debut as Geoff alongside James as Kate.
Hannah Patterson’s play, based on Andrew Haigh’s 2015 film of the same name and directed by Prasanna Puwanarajah, will run from 12th June to 11th July, with press night on 18th June.
The creative team also includes set and costume designer James Cotterill, lighting designer Guy Hoare, composer Ruth Barrett, sound designer Beth Duke, movement director Natasha Harrison and casting director Matilda James.
