Woking’s Ambassadors theatre complex has been renamed Woking Theatres and Cinema in an effort to bring the town’s cultural offering together under "one clear and unified name".
The New Victoria Theatre, which forms part of the complex and was ATG Entertainment’s first ever acquired venue, will become Woking Theatre under the rebrand.
The Rhoda McGaw Theatre and Nova Cinema, also part of the former Ambassadors complex, will retain their existing names.
Venue director Laura McMillan called it a "hugely exciting" moment for the town, explaining: "Bringing our venues together as Woking Theatres and Cinema gives us a clearer identity and reflects the important role we play at the heart of the community."

The rebrand will usher in further changes to the venues, including a refurbished lounge and in-house pizza restaurant, and the introduction of a "priority club bar" offering a premium experience for some theatregoers.
Mayor of Woking Amanda Boote said: “It’s fantastic to see our two theatre venues and the cinema coming together under the new name, Woking Theatres and Cinema.
"It really strengthens the town’s identity and highlights the importance of the arts within our community. These changes and upgrades sound wonderful, and I’m sure they will make every visit even more special.”
