Trevor Nunn’s production of Fiddler on the Roof has announced a West End transfer and will play at the Playhouse Theatre from March.

At present, the musical revival is running at the Menier Chocolate Factory, starring Andy Nyman and Judy Khun, who will both reprise their roles in the transfer.

It will run at the Playhouse, currently home to Caroline, Or Change, which was due to continue until April 6.

It has not yet been confirmed that the musical will close early, however performances of Fiddler on the Roof will begin on March 21. Press night will be on March 27 and it is scheduled to play until June 15.

The production will take place in a “reconfigured” auditorium, and the full cast is yet to be announced.

Fiddler on the Roof has music by Jerry Bock, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick and a book by Joseph Stein.

The West End transfer will be produced by Chocolate Factory Productions, Sonia Friedman Productions and Michael Harrison.
