First ever Teletubbies stage show to tour this year
The Teletubbies will be seen on stage for the first time ever this year, in a world premiere adaptation of the children’s TV show.
In celebration of the show’s 20th anniversary, Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po will take to the stage in Teletubbies Live, which has been adapted by Richard Lewis.
Lewis is also the creator of the Peppa Pig Live shows.
The production will feature brand new songs by composer Mani Svavarsson, as well as puppetry and dance.
A nationwide tour will begin on November 17 at Manchester Palace Theatre, before visiting locations including Llandudno, Wellingborough, Birmingham, Dublin and Aberdeen, where it ends in March 2018.
Further dates will be announced.
The show is produced by Fiery Light – part of theatre production company Fiery Angel – in collaboration with Teletubbies licensor DHX Brands.
