The Lehman Trilogy will transfer to the West End next year following a run in New York.
The play, which originated in Italian and had its English premiere at the National Theatre last year, will run at the Piccadilly Theatre from May 11, 2019.
The production recently announced a US transfer, to New York’s Park Avenue Armory, which will take place March.
The Lehman Trilogy charts two centuries of the Lehman banking family, from their arrival in the US in 1844 to the collapse of the financial firm in 2008, which remains the largest bankruptcy filing in US history.
It is written by Stefano Massini, adapted by Ben Power and directed by Sam Mendes.
The West End transfer, which runs for 12 weeks, is produced by the National Theatre and Mendes’ Neal Street Productions.
