Patsy Ferran is among the actors announced to perform in an online new writing festival organised by the Space.
Eight writers were commissioned to write short plays for two actors as part of 2.0 Fest, which is funded by Arts Council England.
Ferran will perform alongside Ellie Dickens in Gemma Lawrence’s Homecoming.
Other casting includes Jill Greenacre and Lucia Young in Staring at a Nan Goldin Photo by Francis Grin, Stacey Evans and Keziah Joseph in Laura Horton’s Giddy Tuppy and Lily Demir and Seumas Mackinnon in Love/Ruin by Luke Stapleton.
The cast of the festival also includes Damian Cooper, Annabel Smith, Alessandra Perotto, Claire Storey, Samantha Morrish, Georgina Patrick, Tats Nyazika and Colette Zacca, performing in plays by Arthur Cole, Grace Chapman, Annie Fox and Kate Reid.
Artistic director at the Space, Adam Hemming, said: "We’ve been delighted by the imaginative work created by our playwrights.
"2.0 Fest follows on from Two Fest, a duologue festival we ran in February. The format allows for some delightful relationships between characters. We’ve got 16 fantastic actors involved from all over the country. The digital festival has allowed us to expand our reach."
The festival will take place online on July 31 and August 1.
