Hayley Atwell and Tom Burke will star in a new adaptation of Henrik Ibsen’s Rosmersholm in the West End.
They will lead the cast of a production directed by Ian Rickson and adapted by People, Places and Things writer Duncan Macmillan.
The play will open at the Duke of York’s Theatre on April 24, with press night on May 2. It runs until July 20.
It will be the 10th collaboration between Rickson and producer Sonia Friedman, following productions including Jerusalem and Harold Pinter plays The Birthday Party and Betrayal.
Set and costume design will be by Rae Smith, with lighting by Neil Austin, sound by Gregory Clarke and music by Stephen Warbeck. Casting is by Amy Ball.
