Ghost Stories is to end its London run in March after almost 1,000 performances around the world.
The show, written and directed by Jeremy Dyson and Andy Nyman, will close at the Arts Theatre on March 15.
It opened at the venue in February 2014, having previously run at the Duke of York’s Theatre in 2011. It originally opened in 2010 at the Lyric Hammersmith, in a co-production with the Everyman Theatre in Liverpool.
The show has also played in Toronto and Moscow.
Nyman said: “When Jeremy and I first conceived Ghost Stories, we never expected that the show would go on to be a cult hit, playing all over the world, with people returning time and time again to be scared out of their minds. We’re hugely proud of its success.”
The play is directed by Nyman, Dyson and Sean Holmes.
