Actor Lia Williams and designer Chloe Lamford are among the nominees announced in the theatre category of the Hospital Club’s h100 Awards 2018.
The awards from the London-based private members’ club celebrate the “100 most innovative people” in the creative industries.
Nominees have been announced across ten different categories, which also include film, rising stars, music, broadcast and fashion.
Other nominees in the theatre and performance category include LAMDA principle Joanna Read, director Ola Ince, actor Jade Anouka and producer Eleanor Lloyd.
Director Michele Taylor, Storyhouse artistic director Alex Clifton, actor, writer and producer Arinze Kene and Orange Tree artistic director Paul Miller make up the nominations in the category.
The rising star category saw nominations for actors Alex Lawther – who is currently performing in The Jungle in the West End – Abigail Lawrie and Lucie Shorthouse, who is performing in West End musical Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.
Writer and performer Samson Kayo and actor Letitia Wright were also nominated in this category.
Other nominees included actors Daniel Kaluuya and Eve Myles in the broadcast category, and actors Barry Keoghan, Francis Lee and Riz Ahmed in the film category.
The h100 Awards will take place on September 10 at the Hospital Club Studio, hosted by comedian Stuart Goldsmith.
The nominees were selected based on their achievements in the past 12 months, and the “extent to which they are demonstrating dynamism and innovation in the creative field”.
