Based in the Leeds School of Arts, this course is designed to support innovative, collaborative and high-quality theatre and performance practice in a vibrant and exciting arts hub where you will be able to work with others in film, music, fine art and fashion.
Written for established and emerging artists alike, on enrolling you can expect to enhance and challenge your specialism through technique driven and creative modules working alongside a diverse group of peers and exciting theatre practitioners and researchers who are at the forefront of their disciplines.
Characterised by an emphasis on current theatre and performance making approaches, as well as critical debate, the range of modules available on the programme means that students can choose a route which best suits their circumstances and interests through full time or part time study. This is a programme written for artists by artists, as such we recognise the importance of crediting professional practice in our modular structure.
Located within Leeds Beckett University, the Leeds School of Arts boasts an industry standard arts space that includes a 180-Seat theatre, 80-seat Black Box, three dedicated training studios, and a 200-seat cinema. You will also have access to state-of-the-art recording studios, ensemble rooms, and mastering suites.
