A ticketing website for families is launching next month. It will use feedback and recommendations to make it easier for parents to plan and book entertainment events across the UK.
Family Tickets is a new ticket agency dedicated to entertainment for children and families. It will list and sell tickets for shows and events, as well as offering discount codes, and enabling audiences to share tips and recommendations with others.
Its creators said the website is designed to help parents at every stage of the process: from planning and booking tickets, to knowing what to expect and sharing reviews with other parents after the show.
Family Tickets also has a customer support team to answer questions and is developing a help centre for audiences, providing articles on topics such as travel advice, age suitability and buggy parking availability.
The company previously sold tickets directly, for shows such as In the Night Garden Live and Bing Live, but has now expanded to cover the whole family entertainment sector, from West End shows to family events across the UK.
Managing director Andrew Bishop said: “With ever more hit family shows and attractions to choose from we’re delighted to be launching a new website that will help more UK families find and book amazing days out.”
Family Tickets officially launches on July 16.
