Former National Theatre head of casting Serena Hill has joined Trafalgar Theatre Productions as its first in-house casting director.
Trafalgar Theatre Productions is the producing arm of Trafalgar Entertainment, the company founded by Howard Panter and Rosemary Squire.
Hill worked at the National between 1987 and 2003, and has also held positions at the Sydney Theatre Company and London’s Royal Court. Most recently she has worked as a freelance casting director.
Panter described Hill as a “very established casting director” and said she would be a “huge asset to the production team as it continues to grow”.
Hill will be based at Trafalgar Entertainment’s London office.
Trafalgar Theatre Productions is currently producing A Day in the Death of Joe Egg at Trafalgar Studios.
