Ruthie Henshall, Jonathan Bailey and Louise Dearman are lined up to present on a new radio station dedicated to musical theatre, which will become a home for broadcasting the Olivier Awards.
Magic at the Musicals will also feature contributions from Michael Ball, John Owen-Jones and Alfie Boe, and launches on November 21.
It is produced by Bauer Media and is part of the Magic brand of radio stations, which also includes Mellow Magic and Magic Chilled.
The new station will also broadcast the Olivier Awards live in full, as well as other events such as West End Live.
Shows include Take Your Seats Please!, in which musical stars share their favourite shows, and Stage Door, in which Henshall takes listeners behind the scenes in the world of theatre.
Henshall said: “The station’s name is derived from our hugely successful Magic at the Musicals show which is in its fifth year at the Royal Albert Hall. From a vibrant theatre and cinema scene there’s never been a better time to bring this much-loved genre to the masses.”
