An arena tour of Peter Pan starring Martin Kemp and Milton Jones has been cancelled.
Peter Pan – The Arena Adventure tour was due to visit Belfast SSE Arena on December 15 and 16, Leeds First Direct Arena from December 21 to 23 and Manchester Arena on December 28 and 29.
A spokeswoman from Belfast SSE Arena confirmed that its dates had been cancelled, but declined to give a further statement.
The websites for both Leeds First Direct Arena and Manchester Arena also both state that the event is cancelled.
A statement on Leeds First Direct Arena’s ticket selling page for Peter Pan said: “The promoters are sorry to announce that all Peter Pan dates have been cancelled due to unforeseen technical reasons.
“All tickets purchased through the arena’s official ticketing partners will be refunded automatically and customers will be notified by email. Any queries should be directed to your original point of purchase.”
A statement on Manchester Arena’s webpage also says that customers will be issued with a refund.
Representatives for the tour could not be reached for comment.
Peter Pan – The Arena Adventure is produced by WBP Ltd. The show is directed by Jon Conway, and previously ran at Wembley Arena in London in November 2017.
Conway was previously embroiled in controversy when he staged a pantomime using canned music instead of a live band.
