Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will return to the London Palladium in 2021, producers have confirmed.
The musical, starring Jac Yarrow and Jason Donovan, ran in the West End last year and had been due to begin a second run in July.
While this will not take place due to Covid-19, producers have confirmed the show is deferring its dates by exactly 12 months, opening at the Palladium again on July 1, 2021.
Yarrow and Donovan have been confirmed to star.
The show will continue until September 5, 2021.
Composer Andrew Lloyd Webber said: "The team and I are working hard behind the scenes to get the world’s most beloved theatre the London Palladium open and entertaining audiences this autumn. We will leave no stone unturned in our efforts to find a safe route to provide access both backstage and front of house. I am delighted that Joseph will be back on The London Palladium stage next summer.”
Joseph has music by Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice, and is produced by Michael Harrison and the Really Useful Group.
