Drama school graduates have been cast in the forthcoming production of the musical Dear Evan Hansen, with Sam Tutty making his West End debut in the title role.
Tutty, who is a graduate of Italia Conti, will star alongside Lucy Anderson, Doug Colling and Marcus Harman, who are also making their debuts.
They are joined by Rebecca McKinnis, Lauren Ward, Rupert Young, Jack Loxton, Nicole Raquel Dennis, Tricia Adele-Turner, David Breeds, Haydn Cox, Natalie Kassanga, Hannah Lindsey, Mark Peachey, Courtney Stapleton, Alex Thomas-Smith and James Winter.
The musical opens at The Noël Coward Theatre on November 19.
The show is produced by Stacey Mindich and directed by Michael Greif, with a book by Steven Levenson and music by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.
Mindich said: “It’s been a dream of ours to bring Dear Evan Hansen across the pond, and I’m just thrilled that we’ve found the perfect cast to fulfill this dream and introduce this original musical – and it’s very real and very universal themes – to London. In fact, the entire casting process was a joy for the creative team and me, as we met so many amazingly talented actors who were already familiar with the show and its score.”
