An exhibition on the life and influence of Noel Coward will open in London next year.
It will include previously unseen artefacts from the Noel Coward Archive, and will take place at the Guildhall Art Gallery from July 17, 2020, to January 10, 2021.
The exhibition will coincide with the 100th anniversary of Coward’s West End debut play, I’ll Leave It to You, in which he played Bobbie Dermott at the New Theatre.
The venue, which later became the Albery Theatre, was renamed the Noel Coward Theatre in 2006, following extensive refurbishment.
The exhibition is presented by the Noel Coward Foundation and the City of London Corporation, in partnership with the Noel Coward Archive.
Further details will be announced in the new year.
