Theatre Tokens has announced a new partnership with Tesco, which will enable shoppers to buy gift vouchers for theatre alongside their groceries.

The gift cards have been rolled out to 719 Tesco stores across the UK.

They can be redeemed to purchase tickets at more than 250 theatres around the country, including in London’s West End.

Established in 1984, Theatre Tokens is the only nationwide theatre gift card and voucher scheme. They have no expiry date and are produced by the Society of London Theatre.
