Michael Frayn’s comedy Noises Off is to return to the Lyric Hammersmith 40 years after it premiered at the London venue.

The play, which is directed by Jeremy Herrin and has design by Max Jones, runs from June 27 to July 27. Press night is on July 2.

Frayn said: “It’s a great personal pleasure for me, of course, to see my play come home, after all its travels around the world in the last 40 years, to the theatre where it took its first hopeful but still uncertain steps.”

Casting and full creative team are to be announced.
