Live events company Fane Productions acquires theatre marketers Jo Hutchison International

Live events company Fane Productions has acquired Jo Hutchison International, which provides marketing services for theatre.

JHI’s client list includes Kenny Wax Ltd and Flying Music, and the company has created campaigns for shows including Mamma Mia!, The Play That Goes Wrong, David Walliams’ Gangsta Granny and pop musical Six.

It has now been bought by Fane, which was founded in 2017 and specialises in producing and promoting live events – including live shows by performers and authors – and also runs the programming for London cabaret venue Live at Zedel.

Alongside Fane, JHI becomes part of a group of titles under parent company Original Talent, which also includes literary agency Curtis Brown and the production company Cuba Pictures.
