Dates confirmed for Lungs at the Old Vic starring Claire Foy and Matt Smith
Dates have been confirmed for a revival of Duncan Macmillan’s Lungs, starring Claire Foy and Matt Smith.
Foy and Smith, who appeared together as Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip in the Netflix series The Crown, will make their Old Vic debuts in the production when it opens there in October.
Directed by artistic director Matthew Warchus, Lungs previews from October 14, and is due to run until November 9.
The two hander, which premiered in 2011, explores the idea of becoming a parent “at a time of global anxiety, terrorism, erratic weather and political unrest”.
The production will have design by Rob Howell and lighting by Tim Lutkin.
