Breffni Holahan is the first winner of this year’s The Stage Edinburgh Awards.

She was given the accolade for her performance in Collapsible at Assembly Roxy.

The Stage reviews editor Natasha Tripney described Holahan as “radiant” in the play, written by Margaret Perry.

“It’s an incredibly controlled performance; she becomes increasingly agitated and frantic, and she does all this perched on a pedestal, feet never touching the floor,” she added.
