Young Frankenstein takes the crown at this year’s West End Bake Off
Cast and crew from Young Frankenstein were crowned winners of this year’s West End Bake Off, which raised £9,500 for charity.
The baking competition, held at St Paul’s Actors’ Church in central London on May 19, saw productions including Mamma Mia!, The Book of Mormon and Hamilton compete. The Stage also took part, with the theme of the event being the Royal Wedding.
Judges for the event included Christopher Biggins, Wendi Peters and Ruthie Henshall.
Biggins said: “It’s so fantastic to be here again judging for the fourth year of this amazing competition, which helps so many people in the West End.”
West End Bake Off raises money for Acting for Others, a fundraising organisation for 15 theatrical charities, including the Actors’ Children’s Trust and Denville Hall.
The Stage is a media partner for the organisation.
