Olivia Colman, David Tennant, Juliet Stevenson and Ross Noble have all picked up prizes at this year’s WhatsOnStage Awards.

The annual awards, which are voted on by the public, were announced at a ceremony at the Prince of Wales Theatre in London’s West End on February 26.

Broadchurch stars Tennant and Colman both won lead acting prizes. Tennant’s turn in Don Juan in Soho won him best actor in a play – the fourth time he has been recognised at these awards – while Colman picked up best actress in a play for Mosquitoes.

Musical 42nd Street converted eight nominations into four awards, the most of any show, with Everybody’s Talking About Jamie and The Ferryman picking up three.
