Tom Hiddleston to star in Harold Pinter’s Betrayal
Tom Hiddleston is to star in a production of Harold Pinter’s Betrayal as part of a West End season celebrating the playwright.
Betrayal will run at the Harold Pinter Theatre from March 5 to June 1, 2019, with press night on March 13.
It is the final production in the Pinter at the Pinter season, marking 10 years since the writer’s death.
The rest of the season consists of Pinter’s one act plays, however this final production is the only full length play in the season.
Hiddleston said: “Betrayal is a masterpiece. [Director] Jamie Lloyd’s Pinter at the Pinter season is terrific and I am so pleased that he’s asked me to be part of it.”
Further casting is to be announced.
Betrayal is produced by the Jamie Lloyd Company with Ambassador Theatre Group Productions, Glass Half Full Productions, Gavin Kalin Productions and Benjamin Lowy Productions.
