Still Alice starring Sharon Small to tour UK
West Yorkshire Playhouse’s stage adaptation of Still Alice has announced a UK tour.
The play, which is adapted from the novel and Oscar-winning film of the same name, has recently completed a run at West Yorkshire Playhouse in Leeds.
It stars Sharon Small in the lead role of Alice, a renowned linguistics professor who is diagnosed with early-onset dementia.
The production has now confirmed it will tour the UK from September, opening at the Sheffield Lyceum and playing the Richmond Theatre, the King’s Theatre in Edinburgh, Norwich Theatre Royal, the Yvonne Arnaud in Guildford and the Festival Theatre in Malvern.
The tour runs between September 12 to November 24.
It is directed by David Grindley, with set and costumes by Jonathan Fenson, lighting by Jason Taylor and sound by Gregory Clarke.
It is produced by Michael Park.
