Martha Lane Fox joins Donmar Warehouse board
Lastminute.com founder Martha Lane Fox is joining the board of the Donmar Warehouse.
She is one of four new appointments to the board, alongside GlaxoSmithKline chief financial officer Simon Dingemans, Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance chair Monisha Shah, and chartered surveyor Jonathan Smith.
Although not direct replacements, the appointments come as Peter Williams, Roger Wingate and David Parkhill all step down in June, following the end of their fixed-length terms on the Donmar board.
Board chair John Browne described the new appointments as “accomplished people” who are joining at a “time of significant change at the Donmar Warehouse”.
The theatre is currently in the process of hiring a new artistic director, after Josie Rourke announced she would be stepping down next year.
