Killian Donnelly to play Valjean in Les Miserables tour
Killian Donnelly will play Jean Valjean in Les Miserables when it tours the UK later this year.
Donnelly is currently playing the same role in the West End production of Boublil and Schonberg’s musical and will play his final performance on June 9.
He will then reprise the role on November 3 when the tour begins at Curve in Leicester.
It is the first time Les Miserables has toured the UK in a decade.
It will also visit the Bord Gais Energy Theatre in Dublin, the Festival Theatre in Edinburgh and Manchester Palace Theatre.
New dates have also been announced for the tour from April 2019, when it will play Birmingham Hippodrome, Milton Keynes Theatre and finish at Newcastle Theatre Royal on October 5, 2019.
Further casting and dates are to be announced.
