Judi Dench’s Titania costume on display as part of new Rose Theatre Kingston exhibition
The Rose Theatre Kingston is launching an exhibition in celebration of its 10th anniversary.
Running from April 13 to 29, The Rose at 10: Celebrating 10 Years of World Class Theatre, will feature exhibits from the venues past productions.
These will include Titania’s dress from A Midsummer Night’s Dream as worn by Judi Dench and the throne from Shakespeare’s trilogy The Wars of the Roses, alongside other costumes, props, press cuttings and photographs.
The exhibition will run alongside the theatre’s previously announced 10th anniversary season, which includes the world premiere of Hogarth’s Progress by Nick Dear, Friedrich Schiller’s Don Carlos starring Tom Burke, and a production of Stephen Bill’s Curtains starring Saskia Reeves and Caroline Catz.
