Injury forces Denise Van Outen to pull out of Chicago
Denise Van Outen has been forced to postpone her appearance in the current West End production of Chicago after suffering an injured ankle.
Van Outen had been due to begin rehearsals for her stint in the show on September 10, but discovered she had a stress fracture in her heel.
In a statement, producers of the Kander and Ebb musical said Van Outen was now unable to appear in her planned run as Velma Kelly from September 24 to November 17.
However, the statement said she would return to the musical and that new dates would be announced soon.
A replacement will be announced shortly.
