Gillian Anderson and Lily James to star in Ivo van Hove’s All About Eve
Gillian Anderson and Lily James have been confirmed to star in All About Eve at the Noel Coward Theatre in the West End, directed by Ivo van Hove.
The cast will also include Monica Dolan, Sheila Reid and Rhashan Stone.
The play, based on the film of the same name, will run from February 2 to May 11, 2019 with press night on February 12.
Van Hove has adapted the film for the stage and the production will have music by PJ Harvey.
It will have set and lighting by Jan Versweyveld, with costume by An D’Huys, sound by Tom Gibbons and casting by Julia Horan.
Cate Blanchett was originally lined up to appear in the production, but later pulled out because of scheduling conflicts, it was reported.
All About Eve is produced by Sonia Friedman and Fox Stage Productions.
