Full casting announced for National Theatre’s Tartuffe
Olivia Williams will join the cast of Tartuffe at the National Theatre, it has been announced.
Williams returns to the NT following her appearance in Mosquitoes last year.
She has been cast in John Donnelly’s version of the Moliere play alongside Kevin Doyle, known for starring in series including Happy Valley and Downton Abbey.
The cast is led by the previously announced Denis O’Hare as Tartuffe, and the production is directed by Blanche McIntyre.
Tartuffe runs in the Lyttelton from February 9, with press night on February 21.
It has set and costume design by Robert Jones, lighting by Oliver Fenwick, and music and sound by Ben and Max Ringham.
The full cast includes Kitty Archer, Nathan Armarkwei-Laryea, Fayez Bakhsh, Kathy Kiera Clarke, Hari Dhillon, Matthew Duckett, Susan Engel, Henry Everett, Will Kelly, Geoffrey Lumb, Penelope McGhie, Kevin Murphy, Enyi Okoronkwo and Roisin Rae.
