Fiona Gibson joins Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse as chief executive
Bolton Octagon’s Fiona Gibson has been appointed interim chief executive at the Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse, replacing Deborah Aydon.
Gibson has most recently been business director for the Octagon in Bolton, where she was part of the team overseeing its £11.6 million redevelopment programme.
Before this, she led the northern operations of global management company Accenture and was also the Prince of Wales’ ambassador in the North West.
Gibson said she was looking forward to “being part of the cultural heritage” of Liverpool.
Artistic director Gemma Bodinetz said Gibson would play a “pivotal role” in the company.
“Her illustrious career bears testimony to her being the perfect combination of business acumen, expertise in regional theatre and passion for our art form.” she added.
