EastEnders actor Charlie Brooks is to join the cast of the world premiere of Torben Betts’ Monogamy.

Patrick Ryecart has also been cast in the production, which opens at the Festival Theatre in Malvern on May 2 before embarking on a UK tour.

Two new tour dates have been added, with the production now set to visit the Aylesbury Waterside Theatre from May 15 to 19 and the Richmond Theatre in London from May 28 to June 2.

There will also be a five-week season at London’s Park theatre from June 6 to July 7, with press night on June 11.

Brooks and Ryecart, who play Sally and Mike respectively, join the previously announced Janie Dee as Caroline Mortimer.

They are joined by Jack Archer, Genevieve Gaunt and Jack Sandle.

Monogamy will be directed by Alastair Whatley, with design by James Perkins, lighting by Chris Withers, and sound by Max Pappenheim.

The tour is produced by Tom Hackney for the Original Theatre Company, Ghost Light Theatre Production and Eilene Davidson.
