Carey Mulligan to star in New York transfer of Girls and Boys

Girls and Boys starring Carey Mulligan is to transfer to New York.

The Royal Court production, written by Dennis Kelly, will run at the Minetta Lane Theatre from June 12. It will run for five weeks until July 15.

Directed by Lyndsey Turner, the play will also be made available as an audio play by Audible, which is producing the New York transfer.

Audible Theater artistic producer Kate Navin said: “Audible is seeking to transform the theatre experience and usher in a new era for audio drama. By providing performers and creators support and resources necessary to thrive in their craft, Audible is extending compelling performances and building a home for artists and creatives.”

Girls and Boys has design by Es Devlin, with costumes by Jack Galloway, video by Luke Halls and lighting by Oliver Fenwick. Sound is by David McSeveney.
