Bat Out of Hell – The Musical has announced five special singalong performances.

Audience members will be able to sing along with the cast to the Jim Steinman hits during the special performances at the Dominion Theatre on August 28, September 25, October 31, November 27 and December 31.

On the Halloween and New Year’s Eve performances, audiences will have the option to come dressed as their favourite character from the show or from one of Meat Loaf’s videos.

The best dressed audience member on each of those evenings will receive a Bat Out of Hell poster signed by Meat Loaf.

During the sing-along performances, there will be a screen with surtitles for the lyrics.

Recently, questions have been raised around audience members singing along to musicals, with a fight having reportedly broken out during Tina due to members of the audience singing along.

Nick Evans, the associate director of the London and German productions of Bat Out of Hell, said, “Bat Out of Hell – The Musical has brought the legendary music of Jim Steinman to the heart of the West End.

“It’s become clear just how much these songs mean to people. Our singalong nights will be a celebration of that; a chance for our energetic, passionate audiences to be a step closer to our talented cast.

“These unique performances promise to become very sought after; a night at the theatre, a party and a rock concert all in one.”

Bat Out of Hell is booking until January 5.

It has book, music and lyrics by Jim Steinman, direction by Jay Scheib and choreography by Emma Portner.

Jim Steinman’s Bat Out Of Hell – The Musical is produced by David Sonenberg, Michael Cohl, Randy Lennox and Tony Smith.
