Almeida’s Summer and Smoke lands West End transfer
The Almeida Theatre’s production of Tennessee Williams’ Summer and Smoke is to transfer to the West End.
It will play at the Duke of York’s Theatre from November 10 to January 19, with a press night on November 20.
The full original cast will reprise their roles in the production, including Patsy Ferran, Seb Carrington, Nancy Crane, Forbes Masson and Matthew Needham.
The play is directed by Rebecca Frecknall and produced in the West End by Sonia Friedman Productions.
When it plays in the West End, 25% of all tickets will be priced £25 or under.
