Nativity! The Musical is to return with a UK tour in 2019.

It will open at the Grand Theatre in Wolverhampton on October 29, 2019.

The show will then run at the Waterside Theatre in Aylesbury, Marlow Theatre in Canterbury, Wales Millennium Centre, the Theatre Royal in Plymouth and the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton.

Producer Jamie Wilson said: “We are thrilled with the phenomenal success of the show over the last two years and delighted to be bringing it back for a third year running”.

He said the musical is “currently one of the largest and most logistically challenging shows touring the UK”, as it has a cast of adults, a live band, over 35 children and a dog.

It is written and directed by Debbie Isitt, and  has music and lyrics by Nicky Ager. It is choreographed by Andrew Wright, designed by David Woodhead and has lighting design by Tim Mitchell, Sound design is by Tom Marshall and orchestrations are by George Dyer.

The show is produced by Jamie Wilson, Entertainment One, Ramin Sabi and the Belgrade Theatre Coventry.
