Cheltenham Everyman Theatre has announced a tour of Ronald Harwood’s comedy, Quartet.

Leading the cast are Paul Nicholas, Jeff Rawle, Wendi Peters and Sue Holderness.

The production will play at the Cheltenham Everyman Theatre, Gloucestershire, running from February 8 to 17. The press night will be on February 13.

The tour will then run from February 19 to April 21, locations include Sheffield, Birmingham and Brighton.

It is the first production of Mark Goucher’s tenure as chief executive of the Cheltenham Everyman, and is produced on tour with David Ian.

Harwood’s play The Dresser recently ran in the West End, also produced by Goucher.

Goucher said: “After The Dresser I wanted to tour another of Ronald Harwood’s plays and in my new role at Cheltenham I felt that Quartet would be a perfect show for this theatre to produce and then tour.”

It is directed by Peter Rowe, and designed by Phil R Daniels and Charles Cusick Smith.
