Marketing and PR agency Target Live sets up Manchester office
Marketing and PR agency Target Live is to open a Manchester office as it marks its 10th anniversary.
Target Live was bought by global communications firm Havas Group last year and its new Manchester office will be based in Havas Village on Princess Street in the city.
The Manchester team will work across new projects in the north, as well as supporting the campaigns that Target Live is already running. A spokesman said there would be a “huge amount of crossover between the two offices”.
Target Live’s new Manchester team includes Emma King, former marketing manager at Ambassador Theatre Group, who becomes account director for marketing. She is joined by Anna Whitwood, a founding member of AKA North and current marketing and communications manager for Manchester’s Palace Theatre and Opera House, and Kate Goerner, who has been press officer for the Palace Theatre and Opera House since 2009. Their new roles are senior account manager, marketing and media, and senior account manager, PR and publicity, respectively.
Target Live managing director Guy Chapman said the company had always represented projects around the UK and added that the new office was a “natural extension of the services” offered to clients.
Havas Media Group chief executive Paul Frampton described Manchester as “a high priority” for the company.
Target Live’s current clients includes Bill Kenwright, musical 42nd Street and Opera North.
