Complicite’s Judith Dimant and Poppy Keeling join Emma Rice’s Wise Children
Judith Dimant and Poppy Keeling are set to leave Complicite to become the first executive director and executive producer of the newly formed Wise Children.
Dimant will join the Bristol-based Wise Children in the spring, as executive director, and Keeling will join in the new year as executive producer.
They both join from Complicite, where Dimant holds the role of executive producer and Keeling is the company’s associate producer, creative learning.
They will work alongside Emma Rice who is artistic director and founder of the company.
Wise Children was created earlier this year, and will be led by Rice from April, when she leaves her position as artistic director of Shakespeare’s Globe and as the company becomes a national portfolio organisation.
Rice said: “Judith and Poppy bring an unparalleled wealth of skills, understanding and experience to Wise Children – not to mention their unique shared history.
“I feel lucky beyond words to share the Wise Children journey with these remarkable women by my side – prepare for wonders.”
