Casting announced for new Anne Washburn play at Almeida

Casting has been announced for Anne Washburn’s The Twilight Zone at the Almeida Theatre.

Oliver Alvin-Wilson, Franc Ashman, Adrianna Bertola and Lizzy Connolly will feature in the world premiere stage adaptation of the CBS television series.

They are joined by Amy Griffiths, Neil Haigh, Cosmo Jarvis, John Marquez, Matthew Needham and Sam Swainsbury.

It is the first new play by Washburn to run in London since Mr Burns in 2014, which also ran at the Almeida.

The Twilight Zone will be directed by Richard Jones, with movement by Aletta Collins and set design by Paul Steinberg.

Lighting design is by Mimi Jordan Sherin, sound by Christopher Shutt and Sarah Angliss, who has also written the music, and costumes by Nicky Gillibrand.

Richard Wiseman is designing illusions for the production, while it has casting by Julia Horan.

The Twilight Zone runs at the Almeida Theatre from December 5 to January 27, with press night on December 12.
