Hadley Fraser, Ross Noble and Lesley Joseph are to star in the forthcoming West End musical Mel Brooks’ Young Frankenstein.

Fraser will play the title role of Frederick Frankenstein, with Noble as the servant Igor and Joseph playing the housekeeper Frau Blucher.

Based on Brooks’ 1974 film, the musical sees Brooks collaborate with director and choreographer Susan Stroman.

The cast also includes Dianne Pilkington, Summer Strallen and Patrick Clancy.

The production begins previews at the Garrick Theatre on September 28, with press night on October 10.

Prior to the London run it will play a season at the Theatre Royal Newcastle from August 26 to September 9.

Young Frankenstein is produced by Mel Brooks, Michael Harrison and Fiery Angel.
