Carey Mulligan to star in new Dennis Kelly play at Royal Court
Carey Mulligan has been announced to star in a new one-woman play by Denis Kelly at the Royal Court Theatre in London.
Mulligan, who made her stage debut at the Royal Court in 2004, will return to the theatre to star in Girls and Boys, which runs in the Jerwood Theatre Downstairs from February.
It is directed by Lyndsey Turner and designed by Es Devlin, with costumes by Jack Galloway, lighting by Oliver Fenwick and sound by Dave McSeveney.
Girls and Boys tells the story of a couple as their relationship takes a “disturbing turn”.
It opens for previews on February 8, running until March 10. Press performances will be on February 14 and 15.
