Bat Out of Hell musical extends run

The world premiere of Bat Out of Hell – The Musical has extended its season at London’s Coliseum by two weeks.

Jim Steinman’s musical, which was originally due to run until July 22, will now show until August 5.

The rock’n’roll musical, which features songs from Meatloaf and Steinman’s album Bat Out of Hell, will open for previews from June 5, with press night on June 20.

Bat Out of Hell – The Musical is directed by Jay Scheib with book, music and lyrics by Steinman and choreography by Emma Portner.

It is produced by David Sonenberg, Michael Cohl, Randy Lennox and Tony Smith.
