Antic Face announces UK premiere of Collective Rage
Jen Silverman’s Collective Rage: A Play in Five Betties is to have its UK premiere at the Southwark Playhouse in London.
It first opened at the Woolly Mammoth Theatre in Washington DC last year and is described as a “queer and occasionally hazardous exploration”.
The comedy, which follows five women named Betty, will run next year from January 24 to February 17, with press night on January 29.
Influenced by cabaret and female drag, the production is directed by Charlie Parham and produced by Antic Face and Nik Holtum Productions.
Casting is to be announced.
