Adrian Mole musical to open at Menier Chocolate Factory
The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Aged 13 ¾ – The Musical is to make its London debut with a run at the Menier Chocolate Factory.
The musical, by Jake Brunger and Pippa Cleary, originated at Leicester’s Curve in 2015, where it was directed by Luke Sheppard.
It has since gone through a period of further development, and Sheppard will return to direct the London production at the Menier. It runs from July 14 to September 9, with a press night on July 26.
It will have choreography by Rebecca Howell, set and costume design by Tom Rogers, lighting by Howard Hudson and sound by Gregory Clarke.
Orchestrations are by Paul Herbert and musical direction by Alex Parker.
Adrian Mole is produced by the Menier Chocolate Factory and Curve, in association with Anthony Clare and David Ian Productions.
