The Lion King to hold open auditions for West End production

The Lion King musical is to hold open auditions for singers and dancers to appear in its West End production.

Next month it will hold two open calls for adult cast members in London.

Auditions for singers will take place on November 11 at Bloomsbury Baptist Church on Shaftesbury Avenue, while the one for dancers will be at Pineapple Studios on November 28.

Performers must be 18 or older, and eligible to work in the UK.

Singers should have a “strong soulful/gospel” voices while dancers must have a modern dance background.

Disney produces The Lion King, which opened at the Lyceum Theatre in 1999.
