Theatres Trust names Tom Stickland as new theatres adviser
Tom Stickland has been named new theatres adviser at the Theatres Trust.
Stickland previously worked as a business manager for HQ Theatres and Hospitality, and before that was the Olympic legacy coordinator for Arts Council England.
He will take over from Rebecca Morland, who has been theatres adviser at the trust since 2013 and became interim director after Mhora Samuel departed earlier this year.
Following Jon Morgan’s appointment as director, Morland has decided to leave the trust to return to work as an arts management consultant.
A spokeswoman for the trust said Stickland, who joins at the end of January, would “provide advice around the effective operation of theatres, including fundraising and viability”. He will also be responsible for the grants awarded by the trust.
