Sita McIntosh appointed chair of Tonic Theatre
WhatsOnStage chief operating officer Sita McIntosh has been appointed chair of Tonic Theatre’s board.
Lucy Kerbel, director of Tonic, said McIntosh would bring to the role “knowledge of the business, a passion for great theatre and an infectious energy”.
Tonic was formed in 2011 by Kerbel and is committed to supporting greater gender equality in the industry.
McIntosh said: “International Women’s Day is a timely reminder that there is still a lot to do. I can’t wait to get started.”
Prior to joining WhatsOnStage in 2014, McIntosh worked at Ticketmaster, heading up the theatre division.
